pos in may | andy all day
captured by Alex Roux

18th of may 2025

Andy has been part of pos since the very beginning, and now she’s taking us on her very first all-day-long journey: 8 hours straight behind the decks!

we’ll curate spaces to relax, sit in the sun, talk to your friends, talk to some new people, don’t talk to anyone, draw, unwind, eat, let go, get fueled up, listen, dance.

an amsterdam sunday as we like to see them.

Andy

Andy is an Amsterdam-based DJ, Radio Radio resident, host of her radio show “Breezing and Surging”, inspired by her ocean wave studies on RRFM and core team member of possibilities open studio (pos). she strives to identify what is needed and challenge tradition in our rapidly evolving world through everything she does.

with roots in classical music and a curiosity for the new, she moves fluidly across tempos and genres, creating sets that are both unpredictable and resonant. eclectic, fearless, and alive with purpose, her mixes blend rhythmic, genre-blurring, mainly UK-descendant and bass- and percussion driven electronic music, rooted in house, dub, and techno, reinterpreting genres to create new experiences.

raised in the South Island of New Zealand in the backcountry of the Southern Lakes. Alex grew up frolicking through the fields surrounded by nature, never without a pet lamb or chicken by her side. with an education from The Culinary Institute of New Zealand and a silver medal from Toque d’Or competition she went on to travel the world working in fine dining kitchens, learning about flavours, ingredients and cooking methods from anyone willing to teach her. Amsterdam is now where she calls home.

the joy of sharing food and nourishing the body is one of the drives behind AiW. and Alex cooks just like that - with whole, organic ingredients packed with as many nutrients, colours and delicious flavours as possible.

with her focus to create a regenerative food system, Alex sources all fresh produce in season and their dry store is almost plastic free.
