sonically educated in Montreal, Mexico City, and Los Angeles DIY spaces and dancefloors, Nessim has cultivated a sound that leans towards the aqueous, percussive, and expansive sides of experimental electronics, breaks, and ambient. Nessim is currently based in Amsterdam, where he is a resident at Echobox Radio and Murmur, and will be launching a record label in 2025.
as an artist I love the fact that things don’t always have to be constant. i get inspired a lot in the way music evolves— I hear tracks now on the dance floor that I never would’ve imagined back when I was still a teenager going to the club. going out and feeling different kind of energies still plays a huge role to me as inspiration in my own creativity.
i find myself getting caught up in wormholes of different music that excite me at the time and when I play, things shift and change all the time and I love that! the beauty in this for me is the variety, the constant exploration and the way you can always discover new things :)
no matter the genre or the setting, I always ends up juggling between organic and spacious sounds, to get grounded in earth's energy or floating away, to get people in their feelings as much as to make them dance.
inspired by the intricate beauty, complexity and subtlety of the natural world, this universe paints a picture full of textures, colors, movements, playing with pressure and space to make the body move to deeper layers.
of course I know how special of a space pos can be and would like to try to get as close as possible to the purest form of playing music. keeping the musical universe in mind and creating a story that lives in that universe, that's what I'd like to experiment.
dissolving the dancefloor norm with Dj wiggles, the London-based kiosk resident and kinetic founder serving adventurous experiences from the club deck.
informed by the afterhours and twilight dancefloor divinity, wiggles moves wide-eyed and loose through an impressive array of club styles. leftfield and experimental sounds are turned rave-ready, her amorphous set flow guiding the wide range of music and tempos on offer via a metre of energy and surprise. Sometimes swampy and dark, other times driving and propulsive; it’s a blank canvas approach each and every. this emphasis on narrative over cheap thrills and rigidity marks her as an ambitious practitioner within the culture, an emergent voice amongst those willing to push things forward.
inspired by soundsystem culture, Seb H. explores the outer edges of club music with deep, abstracted rhythms and heavy atmospheres. this sunday at pos, kinetic and Seb H. will be celebrating his new EP, featuring four tracks carved from a dark percussive palette and bone-chilling sonics. a true selector, producer and piece of the puzzle.
we’re two makers meeting through design, code, and real-time systems. our backgrounds come together to build things that listen, shift, and move with the music and the people. our work drifts between installation and instrument — not to control the room, but to tune into it. to shape without fixing. collaboration is the core: between us, with the sound, the space, and whatever energy is there.
we’re drawn to what moves beneath — pressure, patterns, feedback, the quiet logic of a group in motion. the way light can lean into a rhythm, the way presence comes and goes. when everything lines up — no one saying anything, but everyone feeling it — that’s what we follow.
at POS, we are experimenting with a systems that responds to rhythms and draws people into their flows. one that catches the energy of the music and reflects it back — subtly, steadily — to hold space for movement. we are exploring the interaction of light and crowds. how can the system be part of what’s already happening. how can light breathe with the mix, settle into the pressure, and stay close to the floor?
